Why your small business needs a website + why it doesn't have to put you in the red

Updated: Jun 5, 2020

I recently created a new website for a client who has been in business for 13 years without a web presence. My client owns a very legitimate and successful business, but was hesitant to spend big bucks on a website designer / developer. He investigated programs like WordPress and Wix and decided the task was too difficult for him to tackle on his own even with a "DIY" platform. He was also concerned that the end results, based on his own skill set, would probably be less than ideal.

However, my client also realized that a web presence is important and that he himself performs an internet search for any businesses he is looking to hire. Like most of us these days, he acknowledged that he would be skeptical of companies without a professional website.

Despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of us rely on online searches and websites to help guide us in selecting companies with which to do business, roughly a third of small businesses still do not have websites.*

My formerly website-less client is thrilled with his new site, which took less than 20 hours of my time, meets all of his business needs, and leaves his customers feeling secure in his expertise. You can more about how I designed his site here.

Incidentally, I am currently promoting a "get online" offer for $800 which includes 20 hours of my time to build your custom-designed site to highlight your brand, and your first year of hosting fees. My sites are always mobile optimized, ready to share on social media, and include basic SEO (search engine optimization).

I would love to offer a 15% "friends and family" discount to anyone I know personally, or any small businesses local to Evergreen, Colorado. Contact me for your free consultation to see if this package is a good fit for your needs.
